Welcome...

No evil is there similar to anger,
No austerity to be compared with patience.
Steep yourself, therefore, in patience-
In all ways, urgently, with zeal.

Rose Colored

Well it's a new day.  I'm not as pissy as I was yesterday.  I guess that is a good thing.

I just seen this article on Foxnews.  I had heard a bit of this on TV the other day, and thought about it, but really didn't pay any mind.....till later that night and then a couple of days later.  Let me tell you why.

Colbert on the Hill - Foxnews

The article above explains quite a bit.  I think that it goes a little easy in my mind.  It needed some of this......

This country is going through some major changes right now.  Politics are over boiling point and people are pointing so many fingers not one person wants to stand up and take things by the horns and say...."For the sake of my people....this is what needs to be done!".  Whah-lah!  Make it so!  Nope....we need to have CELEBRITIES think for the average american or the experts on the situations needing attention on Capitol Hill.  Celebrities.  People who live in a bubble filled world of champagne, cotton candy and unicorn milk.  I am not saying at all that they should not stand for something.  But, making a mockery of our Congress?  They can do that for themselves thank you very much.

Celebrities live in an alternate deminsion of normal.  Their normal is not my normal.  My normal is living paycheck to paycheck, no nanny, constantly out-of-milk status and definitely own a Honda type of life.  I absolutely love my life.  Now.....take a celeb.....own a few houses, few thousand pair of shoes.....never wear the same piece of clothing twice and I'll be damned if I drink anything that cost less than 100 bucks a bottle including water type of life.  Take their cushion of normal and put that into perspective.  Put an average music teacher on the stand in congress and let her testify on why it's important to not cut funds.  Put that celeb on the stand in congress and let them testify and see which one they listen to.  I know it's for the benefit of the music teacher however it overshadows the who problem when celebrities get involved.  Now it becomes not a public problem (schools) but what Angelina Jolie wore to effin' to testify in.

Ugh.  I think I just threw up in my mouth a little thinking about their alernate reality and them thinking 'I'm just like you......just like you......."
